PrusaSlicer on Linux binary distributions

We at Prusa Research build and test AppImages and self-containing binary blobs. These AppImages and binary blobs are available at github Releases page and Prusa3D drivers page. We build our binary Linux distributions using a fixed set of dependencies. Namely, we build PrusaSlicer using a patched wxWidgets 3.1.4 library.

Pre-compiled PrusaSlicer is also available through all major Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora / CentOS, SuSE, Arch Linux), as FlatPak or Snap image. While we at PrusaSlicer are thankful to the contributors, these distribution channels are not officially tested by PrusaResearch thus not guaranteed to be working or up to date.

As wxWidgets 3.1.xx is still considered unstable (binary API is not considered stable), Linux distros often contain old wxWidgets 3.0 only. While PrusaSlicer compiles against wxWidgets 3.0, one may experience some user interface glitches.

FlatPak build of PrusaSlicer is available at FlatHub. FlatPak build is maintained by @xarbit, thanks a lot.
