Welcome to the EMSAfrica Monitor wiki!

The EMSAfrica Monitor aims to provide easy-to-understand information for decision-making ranging from academic to governmental levels. This open-source tool offers you the possibility to analyze time series metrics derived from multi-temporal Sentinel data. You can calculate indices, investigate monthly composites, import additional data sets and learn about new remote sensing products that are relevant to your area of interest.

It can also be used in a region situated outside of Africa.

EMSApp Intro

This work was accomplished by the Department for Earth Observation at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany and was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the framework programme SPACES II (Science Partnerships for the Assessment of Complex Earth System Processes in Southern Africa) and the EMSAfrica project (grant number 01LL1801E).
