- I am currently working in VMware as Software Engineer. Previously worked in Nokia Networks, Subex and OFSS(Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd.).
- I have 14+ years of industry experience in developing software products and features.
- I mainly program in Java and Go. I occasionally use Javascript, Python and Bash too.
- Below is list of my current and past projects:
- VMware, 2023-Current, SMTS in Carvel project, working on new Tanzu Application Platform (TAP) using multi-tenancy KCP. Here I mainly work on Kubernetes writing custom controllers and maintaining Carvel tools.
- Nokia, 2015-2023, worked as lead engineer on NetAct (VMware based) and NOM (kubernetes based) product. Used Java, Go, Oracle, Kubernetes, Kafka, Helm, Docker, Rest, Microservices, MariaDB, ElasticSearch, S3(minIO/Noobaa) etc.
- Subex, 2012-2014, I have worked on ROC Revenue Assurance product. Used Java, Hibernate, Oracle.
- In OFSS, 2010-2012, joined as a fresher, worked on OIPA insurance product. Learnt and used Java, Oracle.
- Freelords, 2010-2017, My first side project. A turn based strategy game written in Java.
- Sokoban Craze, 2014, A simple puzzle game. It was published in chrome web store in past.
- lot of other unfinished projects and tools, check out my repos, I hope to finish them soon 😢.
- Coding competitions
- I Practice data structure and algorithms to keep my knowledge and coding skills fresh https://leetcode.com/pbhaskal/
- Previously I participated in CodeChef competitions codechef_profile and related sites Project Euler.
- Learnings
- I am currently learning React and advanced software architecture and design.
- I read Linux and technical blogs from Google, Netflix, Twitter, Meta whenever I get time.
