add js not working / future events not working

the add-js condition in default.html doesn't actually add the script - this is invoked on the home page. However, this invocation can be deleted, since we are using a newsletter service.

the future-events js functionality on the events page doesn't work - it does not delete elements.

In which branch can I see those future-events?
Should I search for "future-events" or some other string?

there is in the assets/js folder a future-events.js file. It is supposedly called on the events page, to remove past events from the upcoming events page. However, if the add-js field is not working, that might explain why the future-events js isn't working.

you can see it should operate on all elements that have the field "future-date"
