Setting up WidlFly

Go to the WildFly Getting Started page: https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/WFLY8/Getting+Started+Guide?
Download and unpack WildFly
Export JBOSS_HOME variable in /etc/bashrc or ~/.bashrc
Download and unpack Java then export the JAVA_HOME environment variable in /etc/bashrc or ~/.bashrc (I like to use different java versions that is why I don't use a package to install it)
Start WildFly
Add management user

Building the artifact

mvn clean package install

Creating eclipse project:

mvn eclipse:eclipse

The application can be deployed on the standalone WildFly instance by dropping the war in the appropriate folder.
