Setting up WidlFly

• Go to the WildFly Getting Started page: https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/WFLY8/Getting+Started+Guide?
• Download and unpack WildFly
• Export JBOSS_HOME variable in /etc/bashrc or ~/.bashrc
• Download and unpack Java then export the JAVA_HOME environment variable in /etc/bashrc or ~/.bashrc (I like to use different java versions that is why I don't use a package to install it)
• Start WildFly
• Add management user

Building the artifact

mvn clean package install

Creating eclipse project:

mvn eclipse:eclipse

The application can be deployed on the standalone WildFly instance by dropping the war in the appropriate folder.
