Hello, I was finally able to get the book to build again and consequently I will be contributing more. This pull request fixes some grammatical errors, a translation, and changed some variables for example coverage.
One thing I would like to note is that for my setup on Debian 12 (whichever tex version it uses), settings.tex needs to add "angles" to usetikzlibrary. I'm not sure if that change works on your set-up so I did not publish it to my public fork.
