The
admin.hideAPIURL
property is no longer relevant since v3.We used to render a link to the API endpoint directly on the edit view, but now that it's been given a dedicated page, view conditions should be used to control this instead. I don't think it makes a lot of sense to continue using this property as its no longer semantically accurate and there are native alternatives.
No changes have been made to the current behavior of this property, it has just been marked as deprecated until the next major release.
