There are a few other verboten mailing lists but we need to sort out
the replacements with the project office

Looks like there are some links to the docs you're deleting:

WARNING -  A relative path to 'policy/globus-toolkit.md' is included in the 'nav' configuration, which is not found in the documentation files
WARNING -  Documentation file 'software/release-planning.md' contains a link to 'policy/bestman2-retire.md' which is not found in the documentation files. 
WARNING -  Documentation file 'software/release-planning.md' contains a link to 'policy/gums-retire.md' which is not found in the documentation files. 
WARNING -  Documentation file 'software/release-planning.md' contains a link to 'policy/voms-admin-retire.md' which is not found in the documentation files. 
WARNING -  Documentation file 'software/requesting-tokens.md' contains a link to 'policy/gridftp-gsi-migration.md' which is not found in the documentation files.

(which is causing mkdocs to fail because it's in strict mode)
