There's always space to improve but getting this table in there I think is very valuable. We can optimize further later.

I propose adding a color-coded summary table to the top of REP-2000. I also added some minor formatting changes to the list of OS tiers so they generate anchor links.
We reference REP-2000 in dozens of locations as the current state of ROS releases. As it stands the REP is an overwhelming amount of information and it makes it very difficult to answer the common question, "What version of ROS should I install?" Complicating matters the operating system support tiers are a bit difficult for new users to digest and the recommended version of Gazebo are a bit hard to find. This table puts all of that information in a single place.
