# Manager UI

The Manager UI is the dashboard which gives you access to OpenRemote, and allows you to configure, monitor, and control your IoT platform. To access the Manager you will first need to login with the correct credentials (admin/secret for your local installation). Note that our account management and identity service includes features like a 'forgot password' flow. See [Realms](#realms), [Users and Roles](#users-and-access-configuration) for more details.
