Where can I find more information?

If you'd like to get more details on all aspects of the review process for open source pull requests (OSPRs), check out the following resources:

When can I expect my changes to be merged?

Our goal is to get community contributions seen and reviewed as efficiently as possible.

However, the amount of time that it takes to review and merge a PR can vary significantly based on factors such as:

  • The size and impact of the changes that it introduces
  • The need for product review
  • Maintenance status of the parent repository

💡 As a result it may take up to several weeks or months to complete a review and merge your PR.

@Serj-N You need to include this change in the previous PR. No need to create separate PR for the version bump. We want the change and version bump to be in the same PR.

@UsamaSadiq Yes, that's what I did in the edx-when PR. But from Ed's comment, I thought we should also update the dependency version in the edx-platform and any other repos using edx-when. If I that's not the case, then I suppose the version update is done?

This PR will be created once edx-when PR is merged and a new version is published on PyPI. Until, the new version is published CI will fail on this PR and edx-platform already has a scheduled requirements upgrade workflow which updates packages on weekly basis.
We can re-open this PR if we want to land the edx-when upgrade individually separate from other routine upgrades.

Makes sense, thanks for the clarification!
So, just to confirm: apart from the version update I already did in edx-when here, no further action required, is that correct?
