the chatgpt thingy says this error in mpi4py is explained by

The failure occurred because the libc.so.6 version GLIBC_2.38 required by libmpi.so.40 is missing. This indicates that the runner environment does not have the required version of the GNU C Library (glibc), leading to the failure.
