ONC's Edge Testing Tool provides transport and content validation for the 2014-2015 Edition Health IT Certification Program. The initial Edge Testing Tool was developed by NIST for "Edge" network testing only--but the tool has assumed additional capabilities over time. Future versions of the platform may include API testing, FHIR, or other transport validation tools.
The current release schedule for usability improvements is as follows:

Release 2.3.25.1: 8/12/2020, Update to Documents, add testing information for ETT.HealthIT.Gov

Release 2.3.26: 8/31/2020,
- Domain change to ETT.HealthIT.Gov and SITE.HealthIT.Gov,
- Monthly Updates, Fixes, and C-CDA Validator Update
C-CDA Validator updates will be provided on the last Monday of each month, unless there is an exception.
