Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed:

• npm (Node Package Manager)
• React Native CLI
• Xcode (for iOS development)
• Android Studio (for Android development)

Installation

1. Clone the Repository

   git clone https://github.com/okaybeydanol/react-native-ts-starter.git
   cd react-native-ts-starter

2. Install Dependencies

   npm install or yarn install

3. Rename the Project

   Update the name in package.json and the name and displayName in app.json. Then, run:

   npm run rename

   This command will execute: rm -rf ios android && react-native eject && npx react-native-asset

4. iOS Specific Setup

   Modify info.plist and set UIViewControllerBasedStatusBarAppearance to true.

   npx pod-install

5. Start Project

   npm run start
