Prerequisites

  • Python 3.11

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/flask-api-practice.git
    cd flask-api-practice
  2. Create and activate a virtual environment:

    python3 -m venv venv
    source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows, use `venv\Scripts\activate`
  3. Install the required packages:

    pip install -r requirements.txt

Running the Application

  1. Start the Flask application:

    flask run
  2. The application will be available at http://127.0.0.1:5000.
