This repo contains suggested statistical techniques for selected
datasets found in R packages. The notes
column contains occasional
notes about where in the source text it is used. (This is especially the
case when the R help file is not informative.)
Download the .csv
file to sort by other things (such as technique).
Note that datasets that suggest more than one technique are separated by
commas in the technique column; use separate_rows
or the new
separate_longer
to put them one per row. (The source code for this
readme, in README.qmd
, shows how it works.)
Datasets and techniques are listed below. I don’t guarantee I have been consistent in naming techniques! Raise an issue if you see an inconsistency that bothers you, or a duplicate dataset name and technique (I know I have some).
