Main screen and Setting

  • Change IP-adress of QDNH HOST to PC-server where QDNH is running
  • After adjusting the configuration, the app must be restarted manually to take effect

Tip:

  • LCD Background #2D2D2c is Orange
  • LCD Foreground #FFA23B is Grey

Guess what I did to get an inverted screen ;-)

TX- and RX-screen

Pressing F or Menu

Status leds

At top left of the control panel are two status leds

Status of QDNH-communication (Top)

  • Green = Connection Okay
  • Orange = Connecting
  • Magenta = Authenticating or Occupied by another connection
  • Yellow = Error during authentication
  • Red = Connection to server Lost
  • Light Blue = Server didn't respond (likely not a QDNH server) or WRONG password

Status of Radio (Bottum)

  • Blue = Standby
  • Light Green = Receiving
  • Red = TX / PTT active
  • Black = Power Save

Program

The Android APK for QDockX is available in the latest release section. You will NOT find this on the Play Store. Publishing and maintaining an App on the store is a nightmare. So it's distributed as an APK.

  • To install you will have to enable unknown apps on your device.
  • Also remember to grant the permissions (microphone) so the app will be able to transmit audio.
  • You don't have to grant file access, that's just there because of the language export function that's not yet implemented.

Tip

If you would like to test QDockX. Install BlueStacks on your PC

This is a virtual Andoid environment that run on a Windows Operating system
