An in-depth Tsubame 2.5 English guide can be found here. This repository is meant to provide a summary for using Tsubame 2.5. Additionally, should you have any difficulties and require assistance in English, you can create an issue and we will try to help. Anyone is welcome to contribute to this wiki.

Requirements

To access Tsubame, you are required to know some basic command line. If you need a starter guide, a great place to start can be found here.

Further things you need before using this guide:

  • Basic Commandline Knowledge (Preferably BASH)
  • Basic Linux Knowledge
  • Linux/Mac with OpenSSH Client or putty on Windows
  • TokyoTech account which are assigned to a Group with Tsubame Points allocated

General Information

Few things to note before working on Tsubame:

  • Most interactive nodes on Tsubame have no internet access (local network only). If you need to do a git pull or download external files, you will need to use a proxy server provided by TokyoTech. Please refer to this guide for further details.
  • Interactive nodes are limited to small tasks only (CPU usage not exceeding 30 mins).
  • You can connect to Tsubame from outside. However, to do so, you must upload your SSH Public Key. Password based logins are disabled. This is a highly recommended setup.
