I think the change necessary to support single line annotations technically is a breaking change (technically 1.x annotation tags allow spaces in their name even if that wasn't initially intended.) I believe I updated it for 2.0 to prevent that assumption from the get-go. As for what to do with this PR: it'll probably take some investigation. See the mentioned PR (#32) for details of where this came from. |
