# Code of Conduct

## Introduction

The project leaders and contributors of MySqlConnector strive to hold ourselves to the following professional standards.

## Our Standards

Treat others with respect, civility, and without discrimination.

Be honest and trustworthy.

Ensure that code and other artifacts meet the highest professional standards possible.

Act consistently in the public interest.

Continually improve professional knowledge, skills, competencies, and awareness of relevant new developments through training and education.

Maintain the confidentiality of information generally recognized as non-public, confidential or privileged.

Accept responsibility for our actions.

Seek and acknowledge criticism of our work; offer honest and constructive criticism of the work of others.

Properly credit the contributions of others; do not accept credit for work that is not our own.

## Enforcement

Instances of unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project team at [email protected]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. The project team is obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an incident.
