It is possible to use @miniben90/x-win with wayland environment.

Since GNOME 41, it is no longer possible to use the eval method of gnome-shell to execute JavaScript.

Gnome >= 41

For the GNOME version, it is important to install an extension to recover data. To install it, it is recommended to use the installExtension function. After that, it is necessary to restart the current session using the command line gnome-session-quit. Then, you can enable it with enableExtension and use all other functions to access active or open windows!
