why this isn't merging? superseded twice.. @baywet was there any issue surfaced from this not visible in the ci?

@kasperk81 the CI is working fine, the team has decided to stop releases for the summer due to a lot of people being out so we can focus on more urgent things.
I'm merely closing PRs so we don't have 10+ outstanding PRs per repo at the end of this freeze.
