Current state of my changes to the codebase, mostly centered around #10. I will try to rework and cleanup some code to allow local play (ie client counts laps without relying on server) tomorrow, but I think it is helpful to be able to see my changes, since all tickets are closely tied together right now.
It would be great if you'd push your changes as well @meoblast001, so I'll be able to adapt to them.
This is not finished and should not be merged.
