The verification script reads the layout cmdline's index entry actually uses and drops XLINGS_ACTIVE_SUBOS for its direct xlings calls. .xlings.json bootstraps from mcpp 2026.9.15.1, which is released, mirrored to GitHub and GitCode, and the index's latest.
