Welcome to the forest wiki!

This is a place to collect resourced that support the development of forest. Lumberjacks not welcome.

Organization Tools

  • GitHub Issues are used to track individual development tasks, features, bugs, etc.

    • Please try to use appropriate milestones/tags when creating issues.
    • Milestones identify task priorities for when we anticipate incorporating into the project
    • Issue-specific discussions should occur here
    • help wanted and good first issue are good places to start for people looking to contribute
  • User Guide: TBD

  • GitHub Wiki is for documenting helpful resources for forest developers (like this page!)

    • A rule of thumb: if a resource or piece of documentation is intended to help the developers of forest, put it in the wiki. If it's intended to help users, put it in the user guide
  • GitHub Discussion For general high-level/meta discussions related to the forest project. Please direct any bug reports or feature requests to Issues

Internal tools

These tools are intended for use within the Purdue Multi-Body Dynamics Research Group, in particular during the initial development phase. If you do not have access and believe you should, please contact us directl.y.

  • (mbd internal) mbd-astro GitHub Project is for internal project management issue tracking & development milestones.

  • (mbd internal) mbd-astro team: This internal team page may be used for announcements and/or high-level/meta discussions about the project.
