previously, index and its child compoment merchant-details had their own booleans and their values were not synched. Using a prop avoids this problem

The
merchant-detailscomponent (which I propose callingmerchant-dropdownfor better clarity) has its own independent boolean for showKeys from the parentindexallowing the values to become out of sync.Instead,
showkeysis passed as a prop to themerchant-dropdowncomponent.merchant-dropdowntoggles the boolean using an emit, which fixes the issue.
