This is a manual port of Stockfish 9 into assembly language complete with support for Polyglot opening books, large-page memory allocation, and Syzygy endgame tablebases.*
On most hardware, asmFish runs approximately 12-16% faster than its corresponding official Stockfish 9 build.
Bench: 5023629
*Note: With tablebases disabled, all binaries have identical functionality to the official Stockfish 9 release. With tablebases enabled, asmFish will behave identically to Cfish 9, which also implements alpha-beta pruning in its tablebase searches.
