This is a first release of two Votic corpora. It includes the texts:
- example sentences from the Votic scholarly dictionary "Vadja keele sõnaraamat" (Grünberg et al, 2013)
- texts from the Votic schoolbook "Sõnakopittõja" (Heinsoo, 2013)
Both of the corpuses are licensed with CC BY SA 4.0 and formatted according to the Giellatekno flavour of Korp's corpus annotation used in the corpus search system at the Center of Estonian Language Resources.
Both of the Votic corpora can be searched and queried in CELR's Korp. The scholarly dictionary has it's own full dictionary search engine at the Institute of the Estonian Language
Two versions exists of the schoolbook texts, one is "original" and the other is converted into Giellatekno flavoured Korp format. Also the conversion script is included.
