The idea behind creating this GPA Tracker Spreadsheet is to empower students with an effective tool for calculating SGPA and especially the OGPA. This tool aims to fill the gap in the Learning Management System (LMS) that was present in the BSc Engineering Degree - University of Moratuwa by providing a convenient and efficient way to track your academic progress by calculating the OGPA. This spreadsheet automates the process and provides a user-friendly interface to manage your academic data.
- Access the Google Sheet Template (Public link will be added here).
- Convert your syllabus to an Excel format and paste it into the relevant sheet.
- Update each semester with the relevant modules you're enrolled in.
- The spreadsheet will automatically extract the GPA credit amounts using the VLOOKUP function.
- Enter the grade you achieved for each module, and the sheet will automatically calculate your GPA for that semester.
- The spreadsheet calculates SGPA for each semester and provides OGPA functionality that accumulates over multiple semesters.
The beauty of this GPA Tracker Spreadsheet is its flexibility. While tailored for BSc Engineering students at the University of Moratuwa, it can be easily adapted for use by students from other colleges.
