Added all new features from other branches I had created. I read some comments after by maintainer to rebase on 2.0-rc1.

Hello! Jrnl has been a dormant for a few years but we're trying to get it going again. These features look useful -- it looks like this is about viewing entries in descending order and supporting DD/MM/YYYY formats. Would you be willing to rebase against master? Thanks!

@aureooms There's a new ticket (#696) to more broadly deal with these types of date formats. Is there a reason you would like this one reopened?

Oh, did not see that! I was interested in the proposal for adding an option to output entries ordered from new to old.
