Just stumbled across this. How iss it different to the current cli

Available commands:
  help                            Show the help for a command
  list                            List the application's available commands

  extension:install               Install an extension from a URL or from a path
  extension:list                  List installed extensions

  site:down                       Put the site into offline mode

This RFC dates from January 2020 and the commands are only available since Joomla 4 (August 2021). Obviously, those responsible have ignored (or been agnostic of) this RFC and implemented the commands without a written concept (at least I have not seen one so far).

Not yet. We'll have a discussion and decision about thet in one of the next Production Department meetings. It might make sense to compile the reasoning for the decisions made here.
