👋 Hi, I'm Jakob, full stack web developer from Germany.

Developer journey

  • I am attending local meetups like Cologne JS, React Cologne and Open Source Audio Meeting Cologne (OSAMC)
  • For Code for Cologne by Open Knowledge Foundation I adapted their drinking water app for the city of Cologne.
  • In 2023 I started to contribute to Open Source, for example on the Repo Rater project.
  • My path to web development: In 2022 I decided to become a professional web developer and started learning OOP with Java. In march 2023 I got my Java Programming I & II certificates from University of Helsinki. And I completed my intense career-changer training in "Full Stack Web & App Development" at WBS Coding School Berlin (duration: > 4 months). In 2024 I started to work as an permanently employed web developer.
