hi @rootonchair, I'm guessing this is caused by the specific device_map you're using, so it should be a fairly rare bug, but I think it's still worth fixing! However, because this is modular code, you'll need to update the original class (LlamaRotaryEmbedding in models/modeling_llama.py) and then propagate the changes to all the models using that code. See the guide here.
