Check this page out, whenever you're unsure about how to properly use the PixelEditor!

When running our PixelEditor, you can choose, how large you want your canvas and the pixels on it to be.

We recommend that you try out, which size is right for your screen a couple of times, so you have the perfect size, when starting to draw! Now it should look something like this: (Insert pic of PixelEditor with empty canvas)

On the left, you can find your toolbar: (Pic of the toolbar)

Color

This is where you choose the color, you want to draw with, by left-clicking on it. The colors you start with are our initial settings, but of course you can choose each and every color! You do this by right-clicking onto a color and then adjusting it however you like, before pressing Accept and then Close.

Erase

You've made a mistake and want to erase it? No problem! Click on the Eraser Tool (Pic of Eraser Tool) and erase the wrongfully colored pixels.

Save

Now that you've created a beautiful artistic masterpiece, of course, you want to save it.. You can either use the shortcut by pressing s or click on the Save-Button in the top left corner. You'll be asked to choose a title for your wonderful work as well as a directory to save your drawing at. When you confirm both, you've secured your creation!

Load

What if you want to continue working on it later? Of course, we thought about that too! Press the shortcut l or onto the Load-Button in the top left corner and choose a drawing you saved earlier. Now you can refine your outstanding work!

Now you're all set to Pixel away!
