This is me deciding to experiment with using the new GitHub Copilot Agent, released this week.
My prompt:
"go through this codebase and tell me where I need to make instrumentation improvements"
I provided a
copilot-instructions.mdfile (in the diff) that I have verified in other contexts is actually capable of adding decent logs/traces and improving existing ones.This uncompilable diff is the result of ~2 hours of the agent running, getting interrupted because my laptop screen went off, timing out, etc.
