Stuff that I wish was possible:

  • use a divisor in the fan reading (see here or here)
  • access the EC RAM, because there is where the actual speed is set (nbfc can still "influence" things, but not too much)

Fan thresholds are set to what I believe is the original speed curve. 
EC should be an ENE KB9026Q.. I wish I could have done more.
