Physical Updates

The 3d printed case just barely fits all the parts.

Unfortunately, without very cautious wiring, soldering, and mounting, the device is prone to some issues. It is very easy to mistake wires within the construction ans accidentally short out the sensors, adc ic chips, amplifier components.

Next revisions of the physical design will involve better mounting for the components of the DH as well as and most importantly providing more space for the sensor pins to be free from contortion. We lost 12 of 20 sensors by having a pin break off of the plastic ic package body. Use very flexible wires for the inside.

New pictures will be up soon from our hardware integration and assembly sometime soon.

Container Update (5/18/17): The bottom 3D printed part now is deeper by a half an inch to relieve strain on some of the sensor wires, as well as a window that can be used to plug in to power and HDMI while through the outside of the case.
