There are two main key features in this prototype.

1. The instant voice support assistant for traveling users
Easily get updates about routes, travel information, and check-in and out while traveling; the suggestions and instant feedback will be through the speech interface. During the traveling experience, the voice assistant can be provided with personalized and customized voice (this feature can be purchased by in-game coins; see “The gamified system”). For the first version of the prototype, the voice assistant will support English (and in the future, Dutch or other languages can be introduced).

2. The gamified system
The prototype version will have some gamification features, which can help increase the user's engagement with the speech interface. This gamified system will be designed with two features: a coin-collecting game mechanism, where the coins will be calculated based on the analysis of users’ travel history, and a progress bar for tracking users' current travel plans and providing instant voice response.

With a coin-collecting mechanism, the coins will be rewarded to the user along with their travel experience. For example, visiting frequently at the same place will receive fewer coins, while traveling a longer distance will obtain more coins. The user starts with the travel routes when a travel plan has been chosen. After a user completes the routes, voice assistants will give congratulations, and the user will be rewarded with some coins (in the future, this will be optimized by user preferences. For example, the user who wants to visit more cities can get more coins when he visits the stations far from his daily life or uses the filtering option like the 9292 app to “walk less” or “walk more” to gain more coins).

A progress bar will show how long the trip is and when travelers complete the routes. Every transit, stop, or station will be a checkpoint so that the voice assistant will remind the user about the check-in and out status with instant feedback.

The interface will follow the design guidelines of 9292.
