Hi, I'm Henrik

PHP Symfony Swift Python AI / MCP

I build software that connects systems, simplifies workflows and helps people get real work done.

Most of my work lives around backend systems, APIs, integrations and iOS apps. I care about software that is stable in production, pleasant to work with and useful beyond the first release.

What I Enjoy Building

  • Backend systems and web platforms that solve real operational problems
  • REST APIs and integrations that make systems work together
  • iOS and watchOS apps that make small everyday tasks easier
  • Automation tools that remove repetitive work
  • AI/MCP experiments that connect models to useful workflows
  • Small open-source tools and libraries when an idea is worth sharing

How I Think About Software

For me, technology is a tool, not the goal.

I like building things that are simple enough to understand, stable enough to rely on and useful enough to keep around. I learn best by building, experimenting and solving concrete problems.

Toolbox

Area Tools
Backend PHP, Symfony, REST APIs, integrations
Apple platforms Swift, iOS, watchOS, widgets
Automation Python, Go, scripts, workflow tooling
Frontend HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Other languages Crystal, C#
Current interest AI/MCP

Current Direction

I'm especially interested in how AI can be connected to real workflows: personal knowledge, automation, internal tools and physical devices.

Not just chatting with a model, but software where AI becomes part of getting actual work done.

Always curious about better ways to build useful things.
