I have not yet tested this with my application (distcc), but it seems to work, and wireshark is happy.
I would actually prefer to use x25519 with my application, but the code for x25519 is not as mature. (see https://tools.ietf.org/id/draft-ietf-curdle-pkix-06.html#rfc.section.3 for the OID)
