I use non standard placement of static resource files in our Grails application, i.e. web-app folder does not contain any JS, CSS or 'image' file. Currently I integrate resources plugin and faces the problem that plugin can't monitor any static resource. So most probable way of fixing this is enable watchedResources configuration via Config.groovy and 'grails.resources.watchedResources' config property within the application.
Here is the patched version of the plugin. Please merge it into master branch. If you think that my change is bad idea, then send me a note and I would be considering to use own(locally) customized version of plugin on my own.
