The update of google-cloud-spanner to version 3.63.0 introduces automatic inclusion of requestID in GoogleAPICallError exceptions, as noted in its release notes. The project currently has a custom implementation (_augment_error_with_request_id in google/cloud/spanner_v1/snapshot.py) that manually adds the request ID to error messages.
