Database overview

For an overview of the database, please see the ForC database website.

Database structure

Database structure - The ForC database consists of a series of cross-referenced data tables and associated supplementary materials, as described below.

Data tables are in the data folder.

Metadata for all tables is contained in the metadata folder.

Scripts for manipulating the database are given in the scripts folder.

Figures summarizing database content are given in the figures folder.

Original publications associated with all data are given in the measurements table, and full citations are in the bibliography file. The references contained in the database are archived in the ForC-db group on Mendeley, which is a public repository. PDFs of ForC-db references are be stored in our References repository, which is private because of copyright restrictions, but access will be granted upon request.

Database publications are listed in ForC_publications.csv. We ask that any authors using the database add resulting publications to this table.
