   Fixed on the site: the "Updating Cloud Firestore globally" example now shows the Cloud Function from Node-1st-gen/presence-firestore/functions/index.js (the onUpdate trigger that mirrors the Realtime Database status into Firestore) instead of repeating the client-side query. The page's include pointed at the wrong snippet; the fix is live at https://firebase.google.com/docs/firestore/solutions/presence#updating_globally. Thanks for the report, and sorry it took this long.
