#Welcome to the Web Historian wiki!#

The goal of the project is to give users useful insights into their own browsing behavior, and to provide researchers with a platform for incorporating web browsing trace data into their research methods.

This wiki will be used to document the technical features of the extension. For use-cases and examples see our blog. Links will be activated as content is developed.

##User FAQs# How do I disable the "nag" screen reminding me to consider participating in the research project? Go to the bottom of the home page and click on "Settings" then click to disable reminders to participate in the research project.

##Current status# The project has launched on the Chrome Web store, and has been submitted for review to Firefox.

##Project roadmap#

  • Complete Firefox approval process
  • Develop documentation
  • Develop a Safari solution
  • Submit for Edge once they enable the history API (spring 2017)
