• I don't follow your Bazel plans too closely, but I know there is
• Build enso native image in Bazel #14036 assigned to @Akirathan
• being prototyped as Build native image with Bazel #14105
• right now that PR is blocked by missing CC compiler not provided by Bazel
• however (unless I am deeply mistaken) that has nothing to do with smallJdk

TL;DR:

• I am unsure what are you trying to achieve?
• but if you want to speed things up, then help with the missing CC compiler!

Build smalljdk via Bazel, which is required for building the Electron package via Bazel. @Akirathan helped me with that yesterday, and this PR was just a technical detail to show him some code.
