Sounds like bugs elsewhere:

  • w-d-p-gtk shouldn't expose the idle inhibit interface if GNOME backend interfaces aren't available.
  • Firefox should prefer the Wayland protocol over the portal.

Firefox should prefer the Wayland protocol over the portal.

Doesn't seem to be tracked anywhere
