These are changes I made months ago in order to get the code mod working with a new version of open-event-frontend I was building. I'm no longer using that project as a base, and I'm cleaning up my repositories, but I thought I'd put in a pull request because these changes were helpful to me, and I don't think they introduced any new problems.
That being said, I did not do testing beyond making sure the tests passed, everything built, and the codemod worked. Feel free to reject this pull request if you find any issues or don't want to take the risk.
