Stacked on #108 (pnpm). Merge that first; GitHub will retarget this PR to
master.Summary
Same change as ember-cli-deploy/ember-cli-deploy-s3#212 and ember-cli-deploy/ember-cli-deploy-s3-index#155, plus two repo-specific fixes.
^14.6.1→^20.2.1release-it-lerna-changelog@^3.1.0(deprecated) →@release-it-plugins/lerna-changelog@^9.0.0, its renamed successor. Therelease-it.pluginskey is renamed to match; options are unchanged.releasescript: this repo had none, so releases ran vianpx release-it. Adds"release": "release-it"sopnpm releaseworks like the other plugins.@octokit/rest: an unused dev dependency; nothing in the repo requires it.pnpm releasein place ofnpx release-it; add thenpm whoamicheck,pnpm release majorand--dry-run; note that unlabeled PRs are left out of the changelog. WithlaunchEditor: false, there's no editor step, so it says to fix labels and titles beforehand.github.tokenRefisGITHUB_AUTH, so one token variable is enough.Motivation
release-it 14 checks npm access with
npm access ls-collaborators, which npm 9 removed, so it reports "not a collaborator" for actual collaborators. release-it 20 usesnpm access list collaborators.v20 rather than v21: release-it 21 requires Node 22.22+, and
@release-it-plugins/lerna-changelog@9supports release-it up to 20. release-it 20 supports^20.19.0 || ^22.13.0 || >=24.No runtime dependencies change.
Testing
On Node 20.19.0, npm 10.8.2:
pnpm test: 33 passingpnpm release --dry-run --ci --verbose: collaborator check runsnpm access list collaboratorsand passes; the npm publish dry run succeeds; no version bump, commit or tag is created.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
